FEUERSBRUNN AM WAGRAM

-A VILLAGE PRESENTS ITSELF

Feuersbrunn - Im Herzen Niederösterreichs gelegen

Feuersbrunn am Wagram, where our vineyards are mainly located, is situated right in the heart of Lower Austria. The Wagram is a rocky outcrop which stretches along the north bank of the Danube all the way from Krems to east of Vienna.

It´s an area that looks back on roughly a one hundred-year old history of winegrowing.

The original writing of the village name “Vuozesbrunnen" dates back to the 13th century.

In the course of time  the name of the small wine-growing village was gradually changed from “Fuozesbrunnen" to today’s “Feuersbrunn".

Feuersbrunner Kellergasse, die längste Österreichs

The longest street of wine cellars in all of Austria with approximately 220 still operating wine cellars leads from the village boundary on the foot of the Wagram to the woods on the ridge.

There you can enjoy a marvellous view across the vineyards as far as the Danube.

Typische Lößwände zwischen den Feuersbrunner Weingärten

The gentle branches of the Manhartsberg, the loess terraces oriented almost exclusively to the south and the hot, dry summer provide for an environment which allows to grow wine of exquisite quality.

That is why fruity, tasty and aromatic wines are stored in mighty barrels in our wine cellars, wines that can be consumed with joy and delight.

The Feuersbrunn wine growers cultivate approximately  330 hectars of vineyards.
